Citizen Science

Citizen science is rapidly becoming an important tool in environmental monitoring, it can be used separate from Ministries or agencies already in place or it can also be used as it is in the Lake Partnership Program. In this program the Ministry of the Environment supplies volunteers with both the tools necessary to collect water samples and the equipment to test the samples, and the volunteers provide the manpower.
