Data

The search for information concerning Lake Nipissing has produced many data sets from many different sources, below are links to what we have. There are also many publicly available sites with data downloads, including the Ministry of the Environment Data Downloads page, and the National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI) Downloadable Datasets. The Plexscape site is also a useful tool in using MNR data due to their use of a special coordinate system.

Fisheries

The following are compilations of data only from Lake Nipissing from the FishNet2 website, which houses historical and current fish collection data. These are both in Excel format and will download onto your computer.

Water Quality

Lake Partner Program Data from the Lake Partner Program and the MOE, a variety of annual average ice-free secchi depths, phosphorus, and calcium data. We also have an Excel file of only Lake Nipissing data available for download here.
The MOE’s Lake Partner Program also has an interactive map, showing the different areas that have been sampled and the dates at which sampling has occured.

La recherche pour de l’information au sujet du lac Nipissing a produit plusieurs ensembles de données de plusieurs différentes sources. Ci-dessus sont des liens pour ce que nous avons.  Il y aussi beaucoup de sites publiques qui permettent le téléchargement de données, y compris le site des
Données Publiques du Ministère de l’Environnement et l’ensemble de données téléchargeables de l’Inventaire national des rejets de pollutants (INRP).

Le site Plexscape est aussi utile pour utiliser les données du MRN, vu qu’elles utilisent un système de coordonnées spéciales.
